On the morning of December 22, Guo Hun, Dean of the Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry and his partyvisited Jiangsu Yangtze Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute. Liu Xin, general manager of Yangtze Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute, Gu Xiaoyang, Minister of Education & Training, and others attended themeeting. Both sides had a warm discussion on industry-university-research integration.
At the meeting, Guo pointed out that the Institute is established to cultivate front-line high-quality application-oriented engineers and build a platform to solve common key technical problems of industries and enterprises. It is pointed out that jointed construction can cultivate application-oriented talents in terms of a curriculum system which can meet the demand of industries and enterprises.Liu Xin explained in detail the project-based teaching method adopted by the Education and Training Department, and briefly introduced the technologies such as virtual simulation and robot three-dimensional library.
Both conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around the integration of industry and education, and reached preliminary cooperation intention on talent training objectives, curriculum co-construction modes, teaching methods and others.
